The 2008 Washington State Senior Games
will be held in the cities of Olympia, Lacey,
Tumwater and other venues in the South Sound area.
-
The Washington State Senior Games is all about feeling great about yourself, feeling
younger and making new friends. Staying active and competing with others in your
own age group really gets your juices flowing again. Many of our athletes are
joining us for the first time, while others have competed in many different events
over the years. Remember, you can participate in as many events as your time and
our schedule permits, a practice which sets apart the Senior Games from any other
competition. We want all men and women age 50+ to make exercise and fun a year-round
habit. To see the effort and the smiles on the faces of these men and women
competing is an inspiration to all ages.
-
The purpose of the Puget Sound Senior Games is to keep seniors healthy and productive.
Participation in the Senior Games is a year-round effort to enhance wellness.
Our mission is to promote health and fitness throughout the year for people from
50 years of age to 100+ through participation, competition and education.
-
We encourage all seniors to get off the couch and exercise your body and your mind.
Join us for fun, fellowship and some friendly competition. Sign up with a friend
and start training today at your local YMCA, health club, fitness center or in your own home.
-
The Puget Sound Senior Games is a registered non-profit organization that relies on
