Sport Fee:
$8 per person per dance (excluding professional instructors)
Dinner and show:
6:00 pm. Dinner available for $10 with dance performances.

Lesson and dance:
7:00 pm. Dance to follow (until 11 pm) to the music of Casanova. Dance admission is free to Dance Games competitors; Others adults, $7 to $10, Youth (under 21), $5.
Format/Rules:
  • Age Categories:
    • 50-59,60-69,70-79,80-89,90-99

Country/line dance format
  • Entry Levels:
    • Level 1: Dancers in Beginning classes
    • Level 2: Dancers who have been participating in classes at or above intermediate for less than 3 years
    • Level 3: Dancers with more than 5 years experience in classes and above Intermediate for 3 or more years.
    • Am-Am: Each competitor is an amateur.
    • Pro-Am: Competitor entering the competition with a professional instructor.
  • Format for Two Step and Country Waltz
    • Two or more couples dance at the same time in competition with each other in the selected dance.
    • Music provided.
  • Format for Line Dances:
    • Line dancers select one line dance level, two dances per level.
    • Scores will be based on both dances.
    • First wall is done vanilla, as the dance was written.
    • Rules and scoring criteria are posted here.
    • Music provided.

    • Showcase line dancers select one line dance level, two dances per level.
    • Scores will be based on both dances.
    • First wall is done vanilla, as the dance was written.
    • Dancers select their own line dances and provide their own music.

Ballroom dance format
  • Entry Levels:
    • Level 1: Bronze
    • Level 2: Silver
    • Level 3: Gold
    • Am-Am: Each competitor is an amateur.
    • Pro-Am: Competitor entering the competition with a professional instructor.
  • Ballroom Groups:
    • Two or more couples dance at the same time in competition with each other in selected dance for 1 and a half minutes.
  • Ballroom Solos:
    • One couple dances at a time with a routine choreographed to music, which they supply, competing for up to 2 minutes and 45 seconds.
  • All ballroom dancers should call or email if there are questions on the Dance Rules and Scoring or for other information.
